Day 1: Travel to Egypt From US/ Arrival In Egypt

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt as part of your amazing Travel to Egypt from US with Around Egypt Tours! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, one of our friendly representatives will be there to meet and assist you. You'll then be transported to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Once you've checked in, our representative will review your itinerary with you to confirm the pick-up times for each tour. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Cairo as you prepare for your exciting adventures exploring the wonders of ancient Egypt.


Day 2: Tour to the Pyramids

After having breakfast at your hotel, your private guide will take you on a tour of some of the best landmarks in Egypt. You will start by visiting the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, which was designed by the renowned architect Imhotep for his master King Zoser. During the tour, you will enjoy lunch at a high-quality, healthy restaurant. Next, you will visit the Great Pyramids of Khufu (known as Cheops in Ancient Greek), the only remaining wonder from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. On the plateau, you will also see the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smallest Pyramid Menkaure (Mykerinos). Day 4: Tour to Alexandria

You'll start with a visit to Pompey's Pillar, which was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Next, you'll explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock. You'll have a lunch break at a local restaurant in Alexandria, followed by a visit to The Library of Alexandria. After a fulfilling day, you'll drive back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Fly to Luxor - Nile River Cruise

After enjoying breakfast, it's time to check out from your hotel in Cairo and head to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you arrive, our representative will greet you and accompany you to embark on your Nile River cruise. After having lunch onboard, you will explore the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor with the guidance of your private tour guide. Your first stop will be the magnificent Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site. Its hypostyle hall, featuring enormous columns, is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Egypt. You'll have free time to explore the various parts of the complex built during different pharaohs' reigns. After that, you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals, and dedicated to the God Amun. Finally, enjoy dinner onboard the Nile boat and spend the night in Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank

Following breakfast, you will be accompanied by your tour guide to the west bank of Luxor to explore the royal cemetery for 64 Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, which includes the original resting place of the world-famous boy King Tutankhamun. Then, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, the only female Pharaoh, which dates back to the 15th century BC, and the two towering statues of Memnon. Please note that the three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, and they are rotated throughout the year; therefore, it is impossible to confirm which tombs will be visited before your arrival. After lunch, you will set sail to Edfu, enjoying dinner on board the cruise. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 7: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast on your Nile River cruise, your guide will accompany you on a unique Kalesh ride (horse and carriage) to visit the Horus Temple at Edfu. This impressive Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples, with many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. The entrance gate is flanked by two statues of Horus, adding to the grandeur of the temple.


Next, you will sail to Kom Ombo to explore the one-of-a-kind Temple of Sobek while enjoying lunch on board the cruise. This temple is unique in its design as it is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus the Elder, and contains two separate sanctuaries and entrances. You will have the opportunity to explore the temple and learn about the fascinating history and mythology behind it.

Marvel at the temple's long colonnades, towers, and reliefs, including the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Day 9: Private Tour to Abu Simbel Temple/ Fly to Cairo

After breakfast, you will check out from the Nile River cruise and travel to Abu Simbel in a private air-conditioned vehicle, which will take approximately 3 hours. The two temples of Abu Simbel, known for their unique style, are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt and reflect the grandeur of the New Kingdom. To save these temples from flooding, the Egyptian government and UNESCO cooperated in moving them. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to four universal gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramsses II. The temple of Abu Simbel is also known as the Sun Temple of Ramssess II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called the Temple of Hathor, the wife of the Sun God, symbolically bringing together Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as one. You will stop for lunch before returning to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo.

All of our Travel to Egypt from US programs are priced in US dollars per person per trip, except during Christmas, New Year, and Easter. However, you may also pay in Euro or GBP. We continuously update our prices to provide you with the lowest possible rate. Once your Egypt travel from the USA is confirmed, we cannot guarantee any changes in rates from our end.


• Domestic Flights for Travel to Egypt from US:
Our Egypt travel from USA packages include two domestic flights. We typically use Egypt Air or Nile Air for this service. The baggage allowance for these flights is one checked-in bag, with a maximum weight of 23kg, and one piece of hand luggage, with a maximum weight of 7kg.


• Children Policy for Travel to Egypt from US:
Children aged 0-01.99 can join our tours for free. For children aged 2-5.99, we charge 25% of the tour price, and for those aged 6-11.99, we charge 50% of the tour price. Children aged 12 and above must pay the full tour price as per adult rates. If your Travel to Egypt from US package includes airfare, extra charges for your children may apply.


• Payment Policy for Travel to Egypt from US:
To confirm your desired Travel to Egypt from US package, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. We will secure your space upon receiving a deposit of 25% of the required payment. During the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), the required deposit will be 50% of the required payment. This deposit forms part of your final payment. You must pay the remaining balance up to a week before your arrival date, or you can pay in cash upon arrival.


• Installments Policy for Travel to Egypt from US:
At Around Egypt Tours, we offer a new payment plan that allows you to pay for your booked Travel to Egypt from US package in monthly installments. You can pay in monthly installments for six months, nine months, or 12 months leading up to your arrival. You can pay the remaining payment upon your arrival in Egypt from the USA in cash or by credit/debit card, or you can pay the full cost in monthly installments before your arrival in Egypt.


• Additional Entry Tickets for Travel to Egypt from US:
Please note that all our Travel to Egypt from US packages do not include entrance fees to specific archaeological sites, such as entering one of the Pyramids inside, visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, visiting the Solar Boat Museum at the Pyramids area, or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor.


• Tipping for Travel to Egypt from US
Tipping is a customary way of expressing satisfaction with good services rendered by staff on duty. While tipping is not mandatory, we recommend it as a way to show appreciation for excellent service.


• Cancellation Policy for Travel to Egypt from US
In case of cancellation, the following scale of charges will apply to your Travel to Egypt from US package:
•    From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
•    Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
•    Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
•    Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. Additionally, there are cancellation fees for all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel your tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.

• Emergency Cancellation Policy

Around Egypt Tours offers a highly flexible cancelation policy, in case your government or the airline declared a travel warning
for War, riot, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, conditions, epidemics, infections, or outbreaks of COVID-19. If that happened, we would be refunding you the amount paid for the booked tour, or in some cases, your payment will be a credit for future travel. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months.
According to the airline's terms and conditions, only flights’ cancellation/changing fees are charged, and bank surcharges fees are applied on the deposit amount paid.
