Trip to Morocco and Egypt: With Nile Cruise

Upon your arrival at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, our dedicated driver-guide will greet you at the exit of Gate 2. You’ll be comfortably transferred to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Rabat is a city rich in history and modern charm, offering a relaxing start to your journey. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. No meals are provided on this day, giving you the opportunity to explore local dining options on your own.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your guided tour of Rabat, starting with visits to the ancient Chellah ruins and the Kasbah Ouddaya, a historic fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You'll then have free time to explore the souks and markets in Rabat's old medina. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea experience at Café Maure, where you’ll savor mint tea with local treats like Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba.

From Rabat, we journey to Fez with stops at two significant destinations: Meknes, known for its imperial history, and Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Your guided tour of Meknes includes visits to Bab Mansour, Lahdim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We then continue to Volubilis, where you’ll explore the Roman ruins and learn about the historical blend of Roman and Berber cultures. We arrive in Fez by evening, where you’ll check into your hotel and rest.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day guided tour of Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. Begin by exploring the UNESCO-listed Medina of Fez, a maze of narrow alleys filled with shops, tanneries, and historical monuments. Your local guide will take you to key sites, including Bou Inania Medersa, Attarine Medersa, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the famous Nejjarine Fountain.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to a traditional pottery workshop, where you’ll learn the art of Moroccan pottery making and try your hand at creating your own piece. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant in the medina, offering an authentic Moroccan dining experience. After lunch, you’ll have free time to continue exploring the medina or relax at your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart for Marrakech, traveling through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we pass through the scenic towns of Imouzar and Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its Alpine-style architecture. We’ll stop for a break in Beni Mellal, one of Morocco's major agricultural centers, where you can enjoy a local lunch (optional).

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening. Once in Marrakech, you’ll check into your hotel and have the rest of the evening at your leisure to explore the city or relax.

After breakfast, get ready for a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, a city known for its vibrant culture and bustling souks. The day starts with a visit to the lush Majorelle Gardens, a tranquil space designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle, later owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Next, we visit the Menara Gardens, an expansive olive grove with a central pavilion and reflecting pool.

We continue the tour with visits to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, and the nearby Jewish Quarter (Mallah), which offers a glimpse into the city’s diverse history. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll end the day at the bustling Jamaa El Fnaa square, where you can experience the vibrant street performances and market stalls.

As a special local experience, you’ll enjoy a traditional kotchi (horse-drawn carriage) ride through the streets of Marrakech, soaking in the sights and sounds of the city.

Today is a free day for you to explore Marrakech at your own pace. After breakfast at your hotel, you can venture out to revisit your favorite spots or discover new ones. Perhaps take a cooking class, visit the Marrakech Museum, or simply wander through the vibrant souks to shop for local crafts and souvenirs. The day is yours to enjoy as you wish.

After a leisurely breakfast, we travel back to Casablanca. Once there, you’ll be joined by a local guide for a tour of Casablanca’s most iconic sights, including the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, with its stunning oceanfront views. We’ll also visit the city’s bustling Corniche, the Habous quarter, and take in a panoramic view of the Royal Palace.

After the tour, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a final evening in Morocco’s cosmopolitan heart.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Casablanca Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your tour manager and transferred to your hotel. You’ll have a welcome drink while your tour manager briefs you on the itinerary for your exciting journey through Egypt.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a full-day tour of Cairo’s iconic landmarks. Begin with a visit to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. After exploring these ancient wonders, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of historical artifacts, including treasures from King Tutankhamon's tomb. End the day with a visit to the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll board your flight to Luxor, the gateway to ancient Egypt. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your Nile cruise, where you’ll check in and enjoy a welcome lunch on board while taking in the beautiful views of the river. In the afternoon, you’ll set off to explore two of the most remarkable ancient Egyptian monuments: the Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple.

At Karnak, one of Egypt’s largest temple complexes, you’ll be awestruck by the towering columns, giant statues, and the famed Hypostyle Hall. The scale and grandeur of the site make it a must-see for anyone interested in Egypt’s rich history. Afterward, head to Luxor Temple, which is beautifully lit at night and offers a more intimate experience. Here, you'll witness stunning pylons and obelisks that have stood for millennia, a testament to the grandeur of the New Kingdom.

Once back aboard the cruise, you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner while cruising along the Nile, soaking in the serenity of the river and the surrounding landscapes. The evening is free for you to unwind and enjoy the on-board amenities.

After your visit, continue sailing to Aswan while enjoying lunch on board. In the evening, relax with a delicious dinner and take in the serene beauty of the Nile.

Start your day with a visit to Aswan's top attractions. Begin with a trip to the magnificent Philae temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was moved to its current location to protect it from the rising waters of the Nile following the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk that was never completed due to a crack in the stone.

After lunch on board, you have the afternoon free to relax or explore Aswan at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy your final dinner on the Nile cruise.
