Start your day with a pick-up from your Dead Sea hotel, where your driver will be waiting for you with a sign in your name. Enjoy a scenic drive to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, which was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe that founded a thriving commercial empire. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and walk through the stunning 1.2 km long Siq, a narrow canyon adorned with colorful sandstone. At the end of the Siq, you will be greeted by the breathtaking Treasury, one of Petra's most iconic monuments. Continue your exploration along the Street of Facades, passing the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After your guided tour, you’ll have free time to wander and discover Petra at your own pace, with the option to climb the 800 steps to the impressive Monastery El Deir. After your adventure, return to the main gate, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel at the Dead Sea.

Our trip prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip, and you have the option to pay in Euro or GBP. Please note that prices may differ during Christmas, New Year, and Easter. We always strive to offer the lowest possible prices and keep them up-to-date. Once you confirm your Petra trip, we cannot guarantee any changes to the rates from our side.
- Infants up to 2 years old can join the Petra trip free of charge if they share with their parents.
- Children under 6 years old sharing with parents and requiring an extra bed pay 25% of the adult rate.
- Children under 12 years old sharing with parents and requiring an extra bed pay half the adult rate.
- Children 12 years old and above are considered adults; full rates apply.
- The children policy is applied to those sharing rooms with their parents, with a maximum of one child sharing their parent's room.
To secure your desired Petra trip, we recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible. You can secure your spot by paying a deposit of 25% of the required payment. During peak seasons (Christmas, New Year), the deposit necessary for the Petra trip will be 50% of the required fee. The deposit will be included in your final payment, which should be made up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival.
We offer a payment plan that allows you to pay for your booked Petra trip in monthly installments. You can choose to pay in installments of 6, 9, or 12 months leading up to your arrival. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or by credit/debit card upon arrival in Jordan, or you can pay the full amount in monthly installments before your Petra trip.
Tipping is a customary practice in many countries as a gesture of gratitude for exceptional service. Although recommended, it is not obligatory. Tipping serves as a way to recognize the effort and dedication of service providers in fulfilling customer expectations. Generosity in tipping can express appreciation for outstanding service. However, it is important to note that tips should not substitute an employer's responsibility to provide fair compensation.
In case you need to cancel your Petra trip, the following charges will apply:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date: 10% of the entire trip price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date: 20% of the entire trip price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date: 50% of the entire trip price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date: 100% of the entire trip price will be charged. Please note that there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Jordan.
We offer a highly flexible cancellation policy if a government or airline issues a travel advisory due to war, riots, civil unrest, natural disasters, or pandemics (including COVID-19). Should such a situation arise, we will refund the amount paid for the booked Petra trip. In certain cases, your payment may be credited toward future travel, which can be applied to new travel services booked within 12 months.
Please note that, according to the airline’s terms and conditions, flight cancellation or change fees will apply, along with any applicable bank surcharge fees on the deposit amount paid.
Free entry visas are issued upon arrival if traveling to Amman International Airport. Please check your country’s visa policy with Jordan. If staying for less than 3 nights, a visa fee of 56.00 USD is required, and a valid passport of at least 6 months is also needed before entry.
