Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to Egypt!

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt! As you land at Cairo International Airport, an Around Egypt Tours executive will be glad to greet you and assist you with your luggage. They will promptly escort you up to your assigned automobile, which is deluxe, comfortable, and air-conditioned. During the transfer time to the hotel, the executive will explain the 16 Days Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours itinerary to you so that you may familiarize yourself with the details and pick-up time of each scheduled tour. Once you have dropped off your bags at the accommodation, you will be escorted to be served a welcome drink. Thus, enjoy that first night!


Day 2: Cairo Tour – Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

After breakfast at the hotel, go on a full-day tour of the famous landmarks of Cairo. Your tour will start at the Giza Plateau to admire the colossal Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx. After seeing these majestic ruins, lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum, which houses thousands of historical artifacts, including the treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Return to the cruise for dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening aboard the Nile.

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast, go to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, said to be among the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. This Ptolemaic temple is dedicated to the falcon god, Horus, and offers fascinating insight into the religious practices of ancient Egypt. Afterwards, board the ship for a sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. After the visit, continue the sail to Aswan with lunch served on board. Dinner will be served in the evening and provide a timescape to drink in the tranquillity of the Nile.

Day 7: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Begin your day by sightseeing at Aswan's most famous attractions. Start by visiting the magnificent Philae temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was moved to its present location to conserve it from the rising waters of the Nile after the building of the Aswan High Dam. Go see the Unfinished Obelisk next; it is the largest known ancient obelisk that was never finished-the stone cracked. Lunch will be served aboard. You may relax in the afternoon or spend it around Aswan on your own. Dinner will be served aboard in the evening for your farewell occasion!

Day 8: Fly Aswan to Cairo

Day 9: Cairo to Casablanca – Arrival in Morocco

After breakfast, early morning transfer to Cairo Airport for departure to Casablanca. On arrival at Casablanca Airport, the airport representative will meet and assist you in transferring to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink as the tour manager briefs you on the itinerary of the exciting journey through Morocco.

Day 10: Casablanca – Rabat – Fez

Breakfast will be followed by a guide-led tour of Rabat, beginning at the ancient ruins of Chellah, where the traces of Roman and Islamic history may still be found. Now see Kasbah Ouddaya, a beautiful fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a nice Moroccan tea experience at Café Maure with mint tea and some local biscuits. Keep going to Fez with a stop at Meknes to admire the imperial heritage and also at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, known for their well-preserved mosaics and magnificent architecture. Arrive in Fez in the evening to absorb the culture of this very vibrant town.

Day 11: Full-Day Fez Exploration

Begin your tour with the entry into Fez Medina, one of the UNESCO-listed sites, which is a maze of narrow alleyways with shops, tanneries, and monuments. Your local guide will take you to famous sites such as Bou Inania Medersa, Attarine Medersa, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and Nejjarine Fountain. One highlight later in the day involves a visit to a traditional pottery workshop to gain some insight into the art of Moroccan pottery and try making a small piece with your own hands. Lunch will be at a restaurant in the medina, giving you a chance to enjoy a full Moroccan dining experience. After lunch, you will find yourself with free time to explore more of the medina or retire back to the hotel.

Day 12: Fez – Beni-Mellal – Marrakech

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart for Marrakech via the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. On our way, we pass through the picturesque towns of Imouzar and Ifrane, an Alpine-style hamlet called “Little Switzerland.” We shall pause in Beni Mellal, Morocco's main agricultural hub, allowing you to sample local lunch (optional).

In the afternoon, we drive onward to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening. Upon arriving in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening for leisure or exploration.

Day 13: Guided Tour of Marrakech

After breakfast, prepare for a full-day excursion of Marrakech, a vibrant city with an active culture and many souks. The day will start with a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, a calm garden designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle and once owned by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. After that, we visit the Menara Gardens, an olive grove with a pavilion in the middle and a reflecting pool.

The tour continues with the visit of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Jewish Quarter (Mallah) right beside it and offers a view of the rich and diverse history of the city.
After lunch at a local restaurant, the day wraps with Street shows and Market stalls at the lively Jamaa El Fnaa Square.

As a special local experience, you get to enjoy a kotchi (horse-drawn carriage) ride around the streets of Marrakech, taking in the city sights and sounds along the way.

It's a free day with no plans!

Day 15: Marrakech to Casablanca

After a leisurely breakfast, we travel back to Casablanca. Once there, you’ll be joined by a local guide for a tour of Casablanca’s most iconic sights, including the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, with its stunning oceanfront views. We’ll also visit the city’s bustling Corniche and the Habous quarter and take in a panoramic view of the Royal Palace.

After the tour, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a final evening in Morocco’s cosmopolitan heart.

Our tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip, but you can also choose to pay in Euro or GBP. Please be aware that prices may fluctuate during Christmas, New Year, and Easter. We are committed to providing the lowest possible prices, and we keep our rates up-to-date. Once your Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours is confirmed, we guarantee that no changes will be made to your rate from our side.

Tips for Departure:

On the final day of your Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours, it is advisable to avoid booking any outgoing international flights before 3:00 pm. You may also consider extending your stay. Our Tour Leader is happy to assist you with arranging additional accommodation and transfers if required.

Children Policy:

- Infants (up to 2 years old): Free of charge when sharing with their parents.
- Children under 6 years old: Pay 25% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children under 12 years old: Pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children 12 years and older: Considered adults, paying full rates.
- This policy applies to one child sharing a room with their parents, with a maximum of one child allowed per room.

Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours Payment Policy:

To ensure you secure the Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours at the desired time, we recommend making a reservation early. To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% is required. During peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, the deposit increases to 50%. This deposit will go toward your final payment, which is due one week before arrival or in cash upon arrival.

Installment Policy:

We offer a convenient installment payment option, allowing you to spread the cost of your Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours over 6, 9, or 12 months. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival in Egypt or Morocco using cash or a credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount in monthly installments before your trip begins.

Tipping:

Tipping is a common way of showing appreciation for exceptional service, although it is not mandatory. It is often seen as a gesture to acknowledge the dedication and effort of service providers. However, it's important to note that tipping should not replace an employer's obligation to provide fair compensation.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of canceling your Egypt and Morocco Luxury Tours, the following charges apply:
- 61+ days before arrival: 10% of the total price.
- 31-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price.
- 1-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.

Please note that cancellation fees also apply to all domestic flights within Morocco & Egypt.

Emergency Cancellation Policy:

If your government or airline issues a travel advisory due to unexpected circumstances like war, natural disasters, or pandemics, we offer a highly flexible cancellation policy. You will be eligible for a refund or credit toward future travel, which can be used within 12 months of the original booking. However, airline terms and cancellation fees, as well as any applicable bank surcharges on deposits, will apply.
