After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Amman, Jordan. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver, who will take you to Petra.
Your day begins as you travel along the Desert Highway to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, this ancient city was once the heart of a thriving commercial empire that stretched into Syria. Upon arrival, meet your local private guide and embark on your adventure through the narrow canyon known as the Siq, which is 1.2 kilometers long and adorned with vibrant sandstone.
At the end of the Siq, you'll be greeted by the stunning sight of the Treasury, an impressive monument with a facade measuring about 30 meters wide and 43 meters high, carved from red rose sandstone in the early 1st century. Capture plenty of photos as you continue along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After your guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore Petra at your own pace. For the adventurous, there’s the option to climb the 800 steps to the Monastery El Deir, standing 45 meters high. After your exploration, return to the main gate, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Amman.
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Amman and prepare for your departure. A representative from Around Egypt Tours will assist you with the transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your flight home.

Tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip except during Christmas, New Year & Easter Egypt travel packages; however, you can pay in Euro or GBP. Moreover, we always update our prices to ensure that you receive the lowest price possible. Once your Egypt and Jordan tours is confirmed, no change to the rates is guaranteed from our part.
• Domestic flights
There are two domestic flights included on this trip. We usually use Egypt Air or Nile Air for this service. Baggage allowance is as follows:
Checked-in - 1 Bag, max 23kg
Hand luggage - 1 bag, max 7kg
• Tips for the final departure
On your last day, we would recommend not booking any outgoing international flight until after 3.00 pm, or consider spending an extra night in Cairo. Our tour manager can assist with additional services like accommodation and transfers.

• Payment Policy
Reservations should be made as early as possible to confirm the desired Egypt snd Jordan tours. Spaces will be secured as well as Your request will be confirmed upon receiving a deposit of 25 % of the required payment.
During the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), the required deposit will 50%of the required payment. This deposit forms part of your final payment. The remaining balance should be paid up to a week before your arrival date or cash upon arrival.
• Installments policy
Around Egypt Tours offers you a new payment plan that allows you to pay your booked Wonders of Egypt and Jordan in monthly installments.
You will pay in monthly installments of 6 months, nine months, or 12 months leading up to your arrival. You will pay the Rest of
payment upon your arrival to Egypt in cash or by credit/debit cards, or you can pay the full cost in monthly installments before your
Arrival to Egypt.
• Additional Entry Tickets
All our Egypt vacations and programs don't include the entrance fees to the specific archaeological sites such as :
• Entering one of the Pyramids inside
• Visit the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo
• Visit the Solar Boat Museum at the Pyramids area
• Enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
• Tipping
It is a customary attitude for expressing one’s satisfaction with good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise If you are willing to offer it, this will be great, and if not, you are not obliged to do it.
• Cancellation Policy
In case you cancel your vacation to Egypt, the following scale of charges will be applied:
From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject
to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
• Emergency Cancellation Policy
Around Egypt Tours offers a highly flexible cancelation policy, in case your government or the airline declared a travel warning
for War, riot, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, conditions, epidemics, infections, or outbreaks of COVID-19. If that happened, we would be refunding you the amount paid for the booked tour, or in some cases, your payment will be a credit for future travel. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months.
According to the airline's terms and conditions, only flights’ cancellation/changing fees are charged, and bank surcharges fees are applied on the deposit amount paid.
