Your Ghana tour package continues with the capital of Ghana, Accra. We will start our tour at one of the busy local markets with its hustle and bustle of colors, tastes, and smells. Experience Ghanaian culture from the inside out and connect yourself with the ancient rhythms of a proud nation through a traditional drumming lesson. Visit the Nkrumah Memorial Museum, Black Star National Square, and the Independence Arch, landmarks of Ghana's first democratic government. Afterward, enjoy an authentic Ghanaian lunch at a local eatery and continue with your exploration.
Taking a domestic flight today from Accra to Kumasi-the erstwhile capital of the powerful Ashanti kingdom. Visit the Adinkra village to explore the rich traditions of the Ashanti people while participating in Kente weaving and stamp printing. Next, we will take a tour of a local cocoa farm to learn how Ghana produces some of the best cocoa in the world. Attend a memorable Asante naming ceremony at which you will receive a soul name from the elders. Thereafter, we will fly back to Accra after a fulfilling day.
Today, we shall tour the Aburi Botanical Gardens, just outside Accra. A paradise brimming with beautiful plants, unique flowers, and luscious landscapes. It's perfect to take a leisurely stroll around and to capture some good photographs. The afternoon has free time for you to enjoy, possibly to wander around a little bit or have a meal at one of the surrounding restaurants.
Today, we are heading to Cape Coast, a place filled with historical significance. Start at the Slave River, where enslaved captives bathed before embarking on their arduous journey. We will carry on our tour to the Cape Coast Slave Dungeon, where you would learn about Ghana's painful past. Stand at the Door of No Return, a sad icon for the fate that lay in waiting for most of the enslaved. Thereafter, we head to Coconut Grove for a bit of relaxation, where you will enjoy local delicacies and ride horses on the beach.
Relax in beautiful Kakum National Park, famous for its green woods and varied wildlife. Stroll through an exciting canopy trail where you'll traverse seven swinging bridges with amazing views. If the canopy walk does not spark your interest, you can relax at the outdoor lounge. On our return to Accra, we will stop by the Elmina Slave Dungeon, another significant historic destination along the route of the historic slave trade.
Today, you have a free day to spend in Accra; you would begin with a visit to the lively Makola Markets where you can shop for unique souvenirs, colorful Kente cloth, and Ghanaian spices. Markets are exciting places to feel the local rhythm of life. If shopping bores you, you can always explore one of the modern malls in town or spend a relaxing afternoon sipping coffee in a café.
The Shai Hills Resource Reserve is a beautiful castaway where Man can integrate himself into nature. Full of wildlife and wonderful for bird-watching, this reserve is a fantastic place for the Shai Hills Resource Reserve. Hiking within the reserve rewards you with history and relevance.

Our tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip, but you can also choose to pay in Euro or GBP. Please be aware that prices may fluctuate during Christmas, New Year, and Easter. Once your Ghana Tour Package is confirmed, we guarantee that no changes will be made to your rate from our side.
On the final day of your Ghana Tour Package, it is advisable to avoid booking any outgoing international flights before 3:00 pm. You may also consider extending your stay in Ghana. Our Tour Leader is happy to assist you with arranging additional accommodation and transfers if required.
- Infants (up to 2 years old): Free of charge when sharing with their parents.
- Children under 6 years old: Pay 25% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children under 12 years old: Pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children 12 years and older: Considered adults, paying full rates.
- This policy applies to one child sharing a room with their parents, with a maximum of one child allowed per room.
To ensure you secure the Ghana Tour Package at the desired time, we recommend making a reservation early. To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% is required. During peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, the deposit increases to 50%. This deposit will go toward your final payment, which is due one week before arrival or in cash upon arrival.
We offer a convenient installment payment option, allowing you to spread the cost of your Ghana Tour Package over 6, 9, or 12 months. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival in Ghana using cash or a credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount in monthly installments before your trip begins.
Tipping is a common way of showing appreciation for exceptional service, although it is not mandatory. It is often seen as a gesture to acknowledge the dedication and effort of service providers. However, it's important to note that tipping should not replace an employer's obligation to provide fair compensation.
In the event of canceling your Ghana Tour Package, the following charges apply:
- 61+ days before arrival: 10% of the total price.
- 31-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price.
- 1-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.
Please note that cancellation fees also apply to all domestic flights within Ghana.
