Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech

Your exciting 4-day Marrakech to Fez Desert Tour begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. You'll embark on a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi-N-Tichka pass, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the stunning landscapes.

The first stop will be at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village famous for its appearances in iconic films like Gladiator, The Mummy, and TV shows such as Game of Thrones. Our first stop will be an ancient kohl mine, followed by a visit to the nomads living in traditional Berber tents. Enjoy a cup of tea while learning about their lifestyle. Next, we'll visit Khamlia village, where you’ll experience the enchanting Gnaoua music and dance performances by locals whose ancestors hail from sub-Saharan Africa. After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll explore a palm grove and visit the wild Merzouga lake, also known as the Flamingo Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Merzouga.
