Terms and conditions

 

To Secure Booking

 

To secure your booking, you must inform Around Egypt Tours of your request. A company representative will contact you to discuss and finalize the arrangements and send you an itinerary for final confirmation. You must confirm these details and pay the deposit, as discussed in your details to Around Egypt Tours by wire transfer or credit/debit card (Visa and MasterCard; both are accepted).

 

 Amendments by You

 

Any changes made to the original booking are subject to availability. If the full payment has been received and a voucher has been issued, no administrative fees will be applied except on changes to tickets for air travel. 

 

Payment/Booking Policy

 

We offer a low down payment of just 25%-50 to secure your spaces on the booking, including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager. 

 

Payment by Credit Card

 

When paying by credit card, according to our bank regulations, the following documents are required to enable our accountant to charge your credit card for the agreed-upon services. These documents should be emailed to Around Egypt Tours or given to our representative upon your arrival at the airport. Otherwise, we will not be able to proceed with completing your request. 

Document needed: A signed authorization letter to Around Egypt Tours allowing the withdrawal of the required amount from your credit card. The signature must match that appearing on your credit card and passport.

 

 Visas and Passport Validity

 

You need to check your visa requirements before booking this tour. Some nationalities can get a visa on arrival at an Egyptian airport, others must get a pre-visa from the nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate.

Your passport must have at least 6 months at your return date from Egypt.

 

Additional Entry Tickets 

 

All our Egypt travel packages and programs don't include the entrance fees to specific sites such as:

  • Entering inside one of the Pyramids 
  • Visit the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo 
  • Enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor

 

Cancellation Policy 

 

 Cancellation requests should be sent via email to provide the company with written confirmation that you need to cancel your reservation.

 In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

  1. From the date of booking until 121 days before your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 15% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  2. Between 121 and 91 days before your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  3. Between 90 and 60 days before your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  4. Between 59 and 15 days before your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  5. Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines terms and conditions at the time of the booking.

 

Emergency Cancellation Policy

 

Around Egypt Tours offers a highly flexible cancelation policy, in case your government or the airline declared a travel warning for War, riot, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, conditions, epidemics, infections, or outbreaks of COVID-19. If that happened, we will refund you the amount paid for the booked Tour package, or in some cases, your payment will be credited for future travel. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months. 

According to the airline's terms and conditions, only flight cancellation/changing fees are charged, and bank surcharge fees are applied to the deposit amount paid.

 

Refunds

 

A refund will normally be made to the same account and using the same method which was used for the original payment. No refunds are possible in the event of a no-show for an existing reservation. 

 

Responsibility

 

We act as your travel agency, and we will gladly assist you in arranging everything regarding your tour in Egypt from A to Z, and kindly we would like to clarify that we are not reliable for any injuries, damage, accident, or delay of a person that may result directly or indirectly from the following cases: weather, acts of the government, riots, acts of God, wars, civil disturbances, thefts, quarantines, cancellation of any hotels/Flights/Nile Cruises/ or restaurants. If any of the mentioned issues happen to you, we will do our best to figure out the best possible solution to assist you to continue your imaginary vacation in Egypt. 

 

Tipping

 

Tipping is customary for expressing one’s satisfaction with the good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise you to tip as you are willing. This will be greatly appreciated by staff, but you are not obligated to do so.

 

 Complaints 

 

If you have any complaints while you are in Egypt, please notify us immediately because most problems can be solved quickly. If you still feel that your problem persists, call the Customer Care Manager while you are on your tour. After you return home, if you are still not satisfied with the service, you must write to us.

 

Acceptance of the Agreement

 

The contract constituted by the company's acceptance of the client's booking, subject to these booking conditions, shall constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Company. The payment of a deposit or the final payment by bank transfer or credit card indicates that tour participants have read and accepted all terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
